A not-for-profit organisation, established in 2005, the society works with hearing impaired children, mostly from the economically weaker sections of society. They run a Primary School imparting education through sign language and an afternoon programme for school-going older children to develop core life skills.
Their vision is to mainstream hearing impaired people into the community through specialized market-aligned training leading to gainful employment. These trainings are conducted by hearing-impaired trainers, who not only fill a much needed gap of role models but are efficient teachers as well.
